HistoryVegetable and fruit carving originates in Thailand in the 14th century. It is taught from the age of 11 in primary schools through secondary school in Thailand. In the mid 20th Century, the art of vegetable and fruit carving began to grow outside Thailand. Fruit and Vegetable carving is generally used as a garnish. It can also be used for flower arranging. A good example of popularity of fruit and vegetable carvings are resorts in tourist destinations and cruises. Many of them use carving to garnish food and decorate the buffets.

Hi Aneta ~ just a quick note… the fruit art was a showstopper at last night’s party! All the guests marvelled at your artistic creations and then devoured the tasty, fresh fruit! Thank you for arranging such a magnificent display – I am very appreciative of all your creative energy and talent that produced this masterpiece (s)! Arlene
Yesterday was amazing!!!!! I am sooooo glad I found you! I just wanted to take the time to personally thank you for the gorgeous fruit arrangement you did for my bridal shower. Not only did you encompass my theme, but also added a personal touch to include mine and my fiancé’s initials. It was definitely an eye catching display and everyone made comments on how lovely it looked…
Paul and I appreciated the thought Aneta put into the fruit carving in making it fit our theme of our favourite books. It was a beautiful piece that was admired by many guests. Thanks again Aneta! Katharine
